We understand that not every client will need the same type of installation as it will vary from client to client. For this reason, we offer a wide range of extension methods, such as Tape Hair, Fusions, Machine Wefts, Hand-Tied Weft Rows, Beaded Weft Rows, and much more!

Once we receive your return back to our facility, we will contact you to verify how you would like to move forward. Refunds typically take about 7 to 10 business days from the day we receive your return to be completely processed.

All of the hair we carry is 100% Remy Indian hair. This means that it is completely unprocessed, the cuticle is still intact and all of the hair is going in the same direction. Some of our hair has gone through a color or steam process, as shown online.

The amount of hair needed will depend on the length and thickness of your clients hair, and the type of extensions they are interested in. The average head of hair needs between 120-150 grams. Clients with thinner hair may only need 100-120 grams, whereas clients with thicker hair could use up to 180-200 grams. Please keep in mind, these are estimated amounts as the amount of hair needed will vary from client to client.

The type of method that was installed will determine how long they can remain installed as well as how fast your clients natural hair grows. Typically we recommend only keeping extensions installed for about 4 to 6 weeks for each installation before they will need to be reinstalled again. Please keep in mind, this timeframe is only a recommendation and will vary from client to client.


Yes, all of our extensions can be reinstalled! However, some methods may need the appropriate tools and supplies for reinstallation. We recommend using our products and tools when removing and reinstalling Perfect Locks extensions.

  • Each pack of our Fusion extensions come with a total of 25 strands per pack.
  • Our Machine Wefts come with a total of 4oz per bundle.
  • Our Hand-Tied Rows come with a total of 2oz per bundle.
  • Our Beaded Weft Rows come with a total of 2oz per bundle.
  • All of our Wigs come with a density of 130%.

We offer 6 different textures! Our natural textures, which are completely unprocessed, come in straight, wavy and curly. We also offer steam permed textures, which are relaxed straight, tight curly, and kinky curly. We do our best to ensure that the product pictures online are as accurate as possible. However, if you are still unsure of which texture to choose for your clients, we recommend purchasing our texture ring or you can contact us for additional pictures.

When color matching your Perfect Locks extensions to your clients current hair color, we recommend purchasing our color ring before deciding which color to choose! Shipping & Handling

All orders ship the same day if placed before 2pm PST Monday-Friday. Delivery times will vary depending on the shipping location and method chosen. Exceptions may include: shipping errors, fraudulent warnings, holidays and weekends, or technical errors.
Once your order ships, our system provides you with real-time tracking numbers with delivery confirmation. Please note, it can take several hours to update with tracking information. You will be able to track your orders 24/7 with the tracking links in your account or in your shipment notification message.
We ship worldwide! You will see various shipping options for FedEx and the United States Postal Service based on your zip code, state, or country at checkout.

We have a few different shipping methods for you to choose from and we even ship internationally! We ship all of our orders through either USPS or FedEx Express mail. Returns & Exchanges

We do offer a no hassle 14-day return (and 30-day exchange) policy (minus shipping costs) for all unused products. Our policy allows you to wash, condition and brush through the hair while in the zip ties, to ensure full satisfaction of the product before use. If it meets the requirements, you have the ability to return for a refund with a 15% restocking fee for a refund. If you decide to move forward with an exchange or store credit, we will waive the restocking fee.

Hair Care & Maintenance

As long as proper care is taken while the hair is installed, your client should not experience any damage to their natural hair. Keep in mind, it is normal to lose anywhere from 50 to 100 strands of hair a day. It is normal to notice hair fall when removing your clients extensions.

We recommend using a loop hair extension brush. The loops will glide through the hair and will not catch like other bristle brushes. When brushing, it is best to start at the ends and work in an upwards motion. To shop for hair care products click here.

Yes you can! Our virgin hair (Natural Black) can be colored darker or lighter, but just like your natural hair bleaching can compromise the texture and quality of the hair. If you do plan to lighten our virgin hair, we advise not to go lighter than 3 shades at a time. When coloring our virgin hair you will sometimes need to bleach the hair to lift it to a lighter shade instead of just using a standard hair color, as this method sometimes will not lift natural hair.

When doing any color service to the hair, perform a test strand first to see how the color processes with your formula being used. Once you confirm the results and processing time are correct, then you can carry on with the full application of color desired. This is something you can check for after completing your strand test as well.

We do not recommend coloring hair that's already been colored. Our colored hair has gone through a color process already, coloring on top of this process can lead to a very undesirable chemical reaction.

Everything they did before, with a few modifications! We recommend applying and leaving in our Perfect Locks Deep Conditioner prior to swimming. This nourishes the hair while preventing it from absorbing harmful substances, such as chlorine and minerals. It is also recommended to have your client braid their hair while swimming to help prevent tangling.

Hair tangles when dirt and sweat build up so advise clients to wear their hair up, in a braid, or in a ponytail when exercising or relaxing in a sauna.

Clients should wash their hair after working out and swimming, as well as brushing before and after each activity.

Proper care and maintenance is key when it comes to extensions! It is extremely important to use high quality, sulfate-free products on all of Perfect Locks hair extensions. Using the wrong products can dry out the hair or add a waxy build up that coats the hair, which can be the root cause of tangling and matting.

It is also very important to not sleep with wet extensions installed. One of the best ways to keep the extensions under control overnight is to tie them back into a loose braid or ponytail using a silk scrunchie. In addition to this, we recommend using a silk/satin bonnet or pillowcase which will help leave your hair frizz free.

Please note: exposing extensions to sunscreens, spray tans and lotions, may cause discoloration.

With proper care and maintenance, our hair can last up to a year or more. We have customers that have been using the same hair extensions upwards of 4 to 5 years. We recommend only using the highest quality hair extension products for maintenance.

Yes, heat can be applied to Perfect Locks extensions! All of our hair is 100% human hair so it can handle heat, however, we recommend using low to medium heat and heat protectant when styling with a hot tool. Once the hair is washed, it will revert back to its natural texture. Please keep in mind that excessive use of heat can compromise the texture and quality of the hair.
